Douglas has worked across the hospitality and health club/spa industries for more than 40 years. His experience has included running several hotels, Operations Director/COO roles across various hotels groups and PLC board member of Esporta Health and Fitness.
He is extremely passionate about the industry and what it offers in terms of careers and makes the development of people and building strong relationship internally and externally as his "modus operandi". He has also made charity and training an important part of what he does and has been a long-term supporter of both Springboard and Hospitality Action. In 2023 he was made a Master Innholder which gave him another platform to do more of what he has done over many years to support these great causes.
